The command bar is a quick-access tool that lets you navigate, search, and take actions without leaving your keyboard. Think of it as a universal shortcut to everything in the platform.
βοΈ Roles: All roles
Opening the Command Bar
Getting to the command bar is simple and works from anywhere in the platform. Just press Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) or βK (Mac), and a search dialog pops up. When you're done, simply press Escape or click outside the dialog to close it.
Searching and Navigating
The command bar is your gateway to everything in the platform. When you open it, you'll see a curated list of key pages and actions you can access instantly. Just start typing to search, and the command bar dynamically filters results as you go, highlighting matching items in real time.
Beyond navigation, it also searches across your submissions, pentests, and programs, displaying up to 3 results from each category. A single click on any result takes you straight to that item, keeping you moving without interruption.
π‘Note: The available pages depend on your platform role and permissions.
Actions
The command bar puts powerful actions at your fingertips. You can manage submissions and create new programs without navigating away from where you are. The actions available to you depend on your platform role and permissions.
Program actions
If you have the right permissions, you can quickly create new programs directly from the command bar.
Submission actions
When you're viewing a submission, the command bar displays context-aware actions that help you move submissions through their workflow. The available actions change based on the submission's current status, so you'll only see the transitions that make sense at that moment.
These actions work exactly the same way as the buttons on the submission page. The command bar is just a faster, keyboard-focused way to trigger them without reaching for your mouse.
Best Practices
Use the command bar as your primary navigation tool to stay focused and avoid mouse navigation, especially when managing multiple submissions or programs.
Memorize the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+K or βK) for your operating system to make quick navigation a habit and boost your productivity.
Use the search functionality to quickly locate specific submissions, programs, or pentests instead of manually browsing through lists.
Leverage context-aware submission actions in the command bar to update submission statuses without navigating away from your current page.
Check your platform role and permissions if you don't see expected pages or actions. The command bar only displays options available to your role.
