Notification settings

Updated this week

Notification settings let you control how and when you receive updates from the Intigriti. By managing these preferences, you can stay informed about relevant activity without being overwhelmed by notifications that are not relevant to your role or workflow.

Manage your personal preferences

You can manage your notification preferences directly from your user settings.

  1. Click your user avatar and open Preferences.

  2. Go to Communication preferences.

  3. Enable or disable notifications based on the categories or subcategories that matter to you.

Changes are saved automatically and apply immediately.

Notification categories

Notifications are grouped into clear categories to help you fine-tune what you receive.

Marketing updates

Marketing updates include communications related to the Intigriti community and events. You can manage each type of marketing communication separately:

  • BugBytes
The monthly newsletter that keeps you informed about what is happening in the Intigriti community.

  • Events
Notifications about upcoming Intigriti events, such as webinars, live sessions, or community meetups.

Product updates

Product updates notify you about new features, improvements, and changes to Intigriti products or services. These updates help you stay informed about platform changes that may impact your workflows.

Platform updates

Platform updates relate to activity on the Intigriti platform and can be enabled per activity type:

  • Submission activity
Notifications when something happens on one of your submissions.
ex. Submission assigned, New message, New mention

  • Retest activity
Notifications when activity occurs on your retests.
ex. Retest request rejected, Retest expired, Retest completed

  • Program activity
Notifications when something happens on one of your programs.
ex. New pending submission, New application, Program auto-suspended, Credentials running low, ...

  • Group activity
Notifications when group access is modified on submissions in your programs.
ex. Group added to submission, Group removed from submission

  • Program membership
Notifications when your program membership is modified.
ex. Program role changed, Member removed from program, Default assignee enabled

  • Batch operations
Notifications about batch operations you have started on the platform.
    ex. Batch submission export completed

💡Note: The recipients vary depending on the type of communication. Each message is sent only to users for whom it is relevant, based on the activity type and, where applicable, the roles required to take action.

Intercom reminders

Intercom reminders notify you about ongoing conversations with Intigriti support through Intercom. Enable this option if you want reminders to follow up on open support conversations.

Service emails

Service emails are mandatory emails related to the operation, security, and integrity of the Intigriti platform. This category cannot be configured or disabled in your notification settings.

Service emails are sent to ensure you receive critical information that is required to use the platform correctly or to stay informed about important user or company-related changes.
ex. Platform invite, Account disabled, Emergency contact invite, SSO sign-in request, Password sign-in request, Budget running low, Integration error,...

Notification setting levels

Intigriti uses multiple levels of notification settings so you can control what you receive globally, while programs and groups can control what is sent to their members.

Personal notification settings

Personal notification settings determine which types of notifications you are eligible to receive across the platform. To manage personal notification settings:

  1. Click your user avatar.

  2. Go to Preferences.

  3. Go to Communication preferences.

These settings apply across all programs and groups. If a notification type is disabled here, you will not receive emails at all.

Program notification settings

⚙️Roles: Company Admin, Program Admin

Some notifications are also controlled at program level. These settings determine which events trigger notifications for members of a specific program. To view or manage program-level notification settings:

  1. Open the relevant program.

  2. Go to More.

  3. Select Members.

  4. Review or adjust the notification settings for individual program members.

Even if a notification type is enabled in your personal preferences, you will receive notifications only if they are enabled for the program.

Group notification settings

⚙️Roles: Company Admin, Group Admin

Group-level notification scope determines which submissions group members receive notifications for.

To manage group-level notification scope:

  1. Go to Admin > More> Groups.

  2. Click Manage mebers.

  3. Review or adjust the notification settings for individual group members.

Group members receive notifications only for submissions where their group has been added. This applies even if personal and program-level notification settings are enabled.

Best practices

  • Avoid disabling broad notification categories unless you are certain they are not relevant to your role.

  • If you want to start or stop receiving notification for certain program or group acitivity but cannot change the program or group-level settings yourself, reach out to the relevant program or group administrator to review your notification settings or membership.

  • Verify all notification levels when troubleshooting missing emails or alerts, as personal, program, and group settings must all allow the notification.
