📩 Posting a message
Every submission has its own dedicated submission activity thread, offering a comprehensive overview of all messages posted and other actions performed on the submission.
You can engage in dialogue with anyone who has access to the submission, such as researchers, program members, group members, and triagers, by posting messages.
To post a message:
Open the submission.
Scroll down to the 'Activity' section.
Click on 'Add message'.
Select the message type determining who can see your message. You can select from these options:
By default, the message will be internal.

💡Company users with read-only access can only post internal messages.
Compose your message or insert a message template.
Click on 'Send'.
When posting a message, the submission automatically receives a 'New Message' label, making it easy for anyone with access to the submission to track unread messages. Additionally, to ensure timely follow-up and communication, assignees receive email notifications when messages are added by researchers, triagers, or team members.

❓ FAQs
How do I know which message and event I've seen and the ones I've not?
It's straightforward. If the icon is in red, it's unread. If it's in grey, it's read.
Can I mark messages as read / unread?
The platform only supports marking messages as read. Users can mark one or more messages as read by selecting them in the submission overview and performing this bulk action.
Can an individual user mark the message as read for the whole company?
No, it is marked read at an individual level only. There is not an option to mark as read for the whole company.
Does the way the date is formatted change based on location?
Not automatically in the platform, it depends on your browser’s settings. You can change this in your browser settings.
Where did all my submissions go?
To ensure you can focus on the right sections, we've added a filter by default to hide archived submissions. You can always disable this filter in the filter section.
How do I differentiate between internal and external messages?
Internal messages have a lock displayed at the top right corner and are highlighted in blue like in the picture below
